anyone heard of this? just had the facebook group recommended and it seems interesting, bit Mordheim from what I can see as it's a plague ravaged world. Interesting circular play area.
only ebook though, although the solo rules comes with free STLs (of little use to me), but thought it interesting and wondered if anyone had any experience of it?

Looks cool - there have been a few recent indie games around this theme.
But seems very thin on details

yeah, I've asked for more fluff on the FB group. I don't see what you're actually fighting against? zombies? each other? But a simple play area and the basic idea of a medieval apocalypse is interesting me...

Well the audiobooks of fluff so far (on my way home) suggest an airborne plague, armoured knights with breathing apparatus. I’m thinking more Turnip28 at the moment…

I agree, looks good but I really need more information.

Mr.Giraffe sir,
Having seen it in passing on the “tube of you” I’d not paid any attention but your post (and insomnia) made me investigate. I’m guessing from your post you’ve listened to the audio playlist (I haven’t yet) by Bauer games
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z4dQzIQLmQ4&list=PL1dJ1KuMMh08zN_p5wgPRnB5WaUOfIoQc (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z4dQzIQLmQ4&list=PL1dJ1KuMMh08zN_p5wgPRnB5WaUOfIoQc)
There’s also an overview

Or this play through by some very chilled and happy (almost stereotypically) Nordic chaps

Which I have watched. It seems you play against each other - I didn’t hear any mention of wandering monsters or the like but it was only one game.
Hope this helps somehow. Interested to see people playing this and to know more

Yeah, working my way through the audios (so so narrative, flat delivery), but the general world is a miasma that is everywhere, drifting with the wind, everyone is starving and fighting for resources and to get out of the mist. The description I got on the FB page seems to suggest that it’s team vs team, no monsters, fighting for the highest point on the table to avoid the mist. It’s why all the boards have varying levels of towers. Lots of mentions of throwing people off walls and so on. I guess I can see a king of the castle game being fun, but on it’s own…

I have to admit that (in my opinion) it’s seems slightly gimmicky (climbing and pushing people off on a round board) and once that loses its shine it might struggle. The upside is small forces (3 chaps) with lots of conversion/imagination possibilities but the rules aren’t that cheap (charge me a tenner for, say, a stripped down rulebook and I’d buy them just to look at) and it needs a board to be built for it (not everyone has a multi level edifice waiting in the wings). Not trying to sound overly negative (the conversion side really appeals) just not instantly sold on it.

My thoughts exactly.
King of the Castle would be a game mode or a mission objective in other games, not the entire game itself.
I was intrigued. Not anymore.
