Or 18 mm. I know of the Blue Moon pack from Old Glory in the Boxer rebellion, have those, but what else is out there? There are a few figures in their Old West civilians pack but I already have those?
Actually looking to add to my Old West but I figure more folk here on the Colonial page will be familiar with Chinese figures for the 19th century; thus, asking here. Too outlandish won't work given the setting.
Prefer in metal but if a 3D print from someone who prints them (no printer for my own use) then I can go that route.
Ideally figures for a Chinatown but not big city and also workers, especially railroad workers.

And I believe their Boxer range are actually 18mm, not like their 28mm fifteen millimeter Ashantis. :)

I went ahead and ordered those Lancashire Chinese civilians - hope they'll work out okay. So, thanks for the heads up.

Received my Lancashire Chinese today and the are Very Large for 15 mm - even sanding down their bases to paper thin they will be tall. But I think I will still use them - mostly because there really aren't many other options.

Indeed you did but even for 18 mm figures they are on the larger size. Hopefully in a day or two I will be able to compare the Lancashire side by side with some Blue Moon and see how they, literally, measure up.

So, here are the comparison photos and let's start with the 'ugly':

Above are a couple of dead Lancashire Sudan era next to a dead Donnington 15 mm horse. Sure, the Lancashire figures are "supposed to be" 18 mm so bigger is expected - but by no reasonable measure are those dead 18 mm, 20 mm at a minimum and big for 20 mm. I will be gifting these to a friend who has 25 mm colonials if he wants them, probably have to paint them for him to take them.
And then the, well, not ideal but I'll find a way:

Blue Moon Chinese Boxer range civilians bracketing Lancashire Chinese women and children (or maybe white folk from Lancashire - but beyond all doubt the same dollies were used for both, bought both, so it doesn't really matter). Blue Moon is generally acknowledged to be pretty large for 15 mm, a lot more on the 18 mm front, but still workable. As you can see, the Lancashire figures are clearly taller, so being generous we can call them really large 18 mm figures.

This last shot shows Blue Moon men - and they are towered over by the Lancashire women.
So, use the comparison photos as a 'cautionary tale' for those looking to buy. I will do what I can to make the figures useful because the options are so few but I am not confident they will work well - if at all. The minimum is to reduce the thickness of the bases as much as possible but I put a Blue Moon woman on its base on top of the Lancashire woman's base and the Lancashire figure was still clearly taller than the Blue Moon figure, quite noticeably so. I guess I'll just have to consider these Chinese to be very tall ones, not all East Asians are short folk, there are pretty tall Chinese men and women.
But not all bad, I did get a Napoleon in Egypt pack that has archaeologists one of whom is next to the Rosetta Stone - and the stone is a pretty good rendition, I studied the real one when at the British Museum last May. Just have to modify the figures a bit for later time frame for my Slightly Cracked Colonials (some sort of fictional second Rosetta Stone). But even those figures are big!
I guess the moral of the story is, if using Lancashire figures, stick with Lancashire figures - though maybe some Irregular figures might match. But Irregular matches better to Blue Moon but slightly taller at times, I have many of both.

Irregular have a couple of figures, Officers IIRC that you could trim away their sword and use.
They are closer to 15mm.
Splintered Light Games have a true 15mm figure of a classic western style chinese. In the attached photo they are the 2nd and 3rd from right.
Museum Miniatures also do Chinese Hordes and they are bigger sized, but smaller than the Lancashire figs.
