Last night I put on my first game of Midgard for two of my gaming mates. We played scenario two from the rulebook with Romano-British defending two fords against Aelle's Saxon horde. In the end it was an easy Saxon victory with two British units destroyed and heroes retreating. My groups WattsApp has been alive this morning as to what could have been done. As the scenario designer I realise that I should have given the British more "heroes" and less troops. Still, it looked pretty and it was nice to get the toys on the table again!

Good looking game!
Not sure how its ‘solo’ when there were 3 of you?

Ah. By "solo" I meant I was umpiring alone for the first time with two other rookies.. My previous two games involved players who already had a few games under their belts. I was still well down the "learning curve".
