All,
I’m looking for post apocalyptic/zona alfa type signs that I can download and print. Preferably for free. Bloodbeard’s Garage seems to be gone, and I get a security warning from Tap Talk.
-
Bloodbeard's garage blog site appears to be still there, plenty of tutorials and example pages for his zombie apocalypse games. No printable signs though - is there another site (facebook maybe) that they were on?

It’s a start. It’s a “pay what you want “ item so if not free then as much or little as you want.
I might have files of some but if so on my computer not my phone.
-
Thanks guys.

I actually found a set in my own files! They are based on Metro 2033. Weird though, they are full color, when I got to print them regardless of the setting, they print in black and white!
-
Sounds like a printer setting?

Really strange Mike. I’ll need to show it to one of my techy kids.

Try doing a google image search for "post-apocalyptic signs". I did, and got these results...
https://www.google.com/search?sca_esv=4fbe7c869920a6f3&q=post-apocalyptic+signs&udm=2&fbs=AEQNm0Aa4sjWe7Rqy32pFwRj0UkWd8nbOJfsBGGB5IQQO6L3J03RPjGV0MznOJ6Likin94o1r5LfEXWFkRDyPajU30-jeRNtfXivtrn0HJW3O7kvgEoWiE9VbNb1VWEJv56ltvY9o_dcghHabmTIz2vjR1QknCI_fK9PpZf-1vm5QsKY5lYts88A2HHQk9Xa5-Sci_Hixb7aM8dLucOjdFgjn0QnLkwupQ&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiB3qPxi_OKAxVtGtAFHf7xF24QtKgLegQIHhAB&cshid=1736784972325645&biw=2560&bih=1279&dpr=1.5
If there are any you can use, save the image(s) as a .jpg file(s). Open an MSWord doc, and import the .jpg(s) into it. Resize if/as needed, and print!

That's what I do, too -- what Jim says. Google is my friend, and Photoshop is his buddy urging him on to do more...! lol "Cannonball...right back atcha...!"

POSTED UP HANDBILLS: Do they have to be particularly post-apocalyptic at 28mm scale? You can barely see them.
I swept through a few image searches and found such fun as a wrestling poster for the thundercats vs he-man and the masters of the universe, invitations to join GI-Joe's COBRA organization, weapons and anatomical charts, punk rock promo posters, hot girls with guns pics, and more such nonsense. I made a word file of a ton of them scaled down to appx 15-20mm size on the long side, printed them out, and are still cutting off ones for terrain pieces to this day.
At first glance your players won't notice, but eventually somebody will take a closer look and it'll be HEY.....this is....! and you'll get a laugh. If you really want Fallout related stuff you'll have to specify that in your search, and Fallout is very self-genre driven.
Now for full-on billboards, you'll have to either look further, buy some, or design some in Photoshop, with or without the assistance of an AI program to get the art style right if you want something quick and easy.
Have fun getting a sheet together!

TRUMP back in the White House!
Need I say more? lol
Sorry couldn't resist with that topic title.

I use Photoshop to make my own billboards or resize advertisements to the proper scale. Here are a couple I've made for my Modern Africa games:

For billboards, I created my 3-D printed ones with metal bases covering the area where the poster would be. Then I printed my billboards themselves on magnetic material. Thus, I can swap out the same four billboards for multiple periods...

Good Morning All,
I've whipped up a few Post-Apocalyptic / Sci-Fi type billboard signs and will post them in a separate thread. Enjoy.
