Title: BSC2025 Red Orc's UFO

... as I said in the sticky, I am planning on making something along the lines of a sci-fi vehicle inspired by the old deodorant-stick grav-tank, or something similar. Probably a deodorant stick, maybe a shampoo bottle, as the chassis, the thing wll almost certainly be some kind of hovery thing, like a landspeeder or something like that, with an outside possibility (because it just occurred to me and I don't jave an idea how to work it yet) of a submarine... which probably isn't an Unidentified Floating Object.

Anyway, this is actually Rick Priestley's original grav tank that is my inspiration. If I get anything a quarter as cool I'll be ecstatic.

I remember (Fondly) the Deodorant stick hover-tank. I even made my own version.

Fair enough, photos of things were a rare commodity in the days when they only came 24/36 at a time.

That picture of the Priestley Hovertank reminded me of the two I still have lying around in their project state for my Mentor Legion ::)

Your mention of the Mentor Legion (I'm sure I posted on your thread about them a couple of years ago) reminded me of the Legion of Lead that members of the forum were putting together even years before that.

I'm not saying I will *definitely* paint up my hover-car-cum-grav-tank in Lead Legion colours, but it's given me some ideas anyway!

OK, obviously this has gone nowhere, I have just as many bits not-put-together as I had at the beginning... never mind, I might get my lazy butt into gear at some point, but don't hold your breath!

It can be hard to find the time to get stuff done, especially  to a time frame.

Build it at your own pace and enjoy it.
