Hi,
Very pleased to be here. Really welcoming forum with gazoodles of amazing content. I'm an RPG gamer from the UK who started playing during Covid, after doing fantasy game books with my son.
Partly I paint with a view to building a collection of miniatures I can use at a gaming table - I've only played at a VTT since 2021 except of one Port Blacksand game with my son. For those interested, I plan to run an OSR Dark Albion game with a gritty Warhammer Fantasy atmosphere blended with British Isles Vaesen, a DCC Lankhmar game and, one day, Dolmenwood. But mainly I paint because I just love painting miniatures.
I have an unreasonably strong interest in metal goblins, orcs, trolls, ogres the like. When I get back to painting again (after a break prepping an RPG campaign) then I'll probably post pics here.

Hello, welcome to the forum (from someone who also re-engaged because of their kids... it's such a great excuse)!

Hello, and welcome, from someone not far at all frmo Leeds (out Pontefract way). I have been Warhammer Fantasying (RP and Battle) since the early 80s. I apologise but your menton of 'OSR Dark Albion/British Isles Vaesen/DCC Lankhmar/Dolmenwood' is all lost on me, but if it involves painting and playing with minis. Huzzah!

Hi there. I love WFRP. And i actually work in Ponte. I’m loving getting into painting figures and hope one day they will get used in a real tabletop game - rather than just playing virtual tabletops which is all I've done so far…
