One of the games run at this month's meeting of the Devon Wargames Group was an AWI skirmish entitled 'Solid Men to the Front', using Fistful of Lead.

The game was constructed around one of the scenarios from the Horse & Musket rules, 'Defending a Bridge', using 54mm figures for a change.

Really enjoyed the AAR!
Nice to see proper 'Big Boy's Toys' in action, too!

Hi and thanks for your comment.
I too really enjoyed seeing the 54’s out on the table together with Si’s home brew terrain gave the game a real, ‘Old School’ feel to it, and I know the chaps playing had a lot of fun if the banter during and after in the bar was any measure to go by.
Cheers

Fistful of Lead are great rules for fun games!
Nice - though I take umbrage at some of the specious wording applied to the gallant, if overcome, patriots! :o. But, being a 'yank', I would say that now wouldn't I. lol

What he said. Both bits...
But I have concerns with 2 specific comments. "No cigar"? That's just wrong. And "Good King George" Meh.... 8)
Aside from that, lovely game and report, if not the result... ;)
