I’m starting a new Project Z thread to showcase my minis from this game. First up – a biker from the Biker Gang 🏍️💀
Up next, more bikers and then zombies and survivors.

I think awesome
-
Very nice work on that.
I could never get the figures to gell, they just did not look right (I had a bad experience with the poorly designed and badly produced game which did not help).
That figure looks great, can you also build a comparable figure on foot?
-
Biker looks awesome!

Looks superb
-
28mm…!!! Really? That’s astonishing. Ok, I’m handing in my paint brushes.
Wonderful work - congratulations.

Yeah, great painting skills are in evidence.
-
Wow, thanks so much for all the kind words! I really appreciate the feedback, and I’m glad you like the mini. I’ll definitely be adding more—slowly but surely!

Haha, don’t give up just yet! 😆

I totally get that, the poses are not great, but some of the minis have a lot of potential.
And yes, you can build a comparable figure on foot! There are extra leg pieces, so every rider can be assembled either mounted or on foot. The only catch is that only female legs are available for passengers on the back of the bike.

That biker dude sure looks the part!
-
Thank you!
-
Another biker joins the gang!
This one comes armed with a shotgun in a handlebar scabbard and a tattoo dedicated to his beloved Kim, with a heart in the letter “M.” 💀💘🏍️

He's another good-lookin' biker dude. I like the shotgun in that scabbard.
-
Thank you!
-
Those are some stunningly painted models :-*, very nice extra details and they really look the part. Well done sir!
-
Thanks a lot! 🙌 I really appreciate it. I had a blast painting these, so I’m happy they come across well. Your comment really made my day!
-
Those were a tough kit to assemble. Wonderful painting on these two bikers.
-
Thank you! And yes, they were :)

Another addition to my Biker Gang.
This time, two female bikers on one machine ? a tattooed rider in control, while her gunner fires an Uzi from the backseat.

Love the leopard print pants...! Great job on these...she looks like she means business!

Those are some very well painted miniatures :-*, love the details you've added.

Thanks guys! I'm glad you like it :-*

Working on the next bike for my biker gang, and here’s a WIP of the passenger.
I wanted to give her a tanned look but keep her skin lighter where a short-sleeve shirt would have covered it - though now she’s wearing something more like a tank top.

I think that is the first time I have seen someone deliberately paint a "farmer's tan," as we call it... lol
Great job, though you may need to explain it to people. :D

Nice work.

Thanks guys!

I wanted to try something new. This mini has a very small torso, so it didn’t turn out quite the way I expected. I have some nude female miniatures, so I’ll definitely give it another try.
-
Lovely work. :)
-
Thank you!

Another ride for the biker gang! 🏍?💥
This time it’s a bald guy and his badass passenger – she’s riding with a knife in one hand and a MAC-10 in the other. He’s got some tattoos and jacket decals on his back… though they’re mostly hidden now because of the passenger.

Thanks!

Your free-hand skill on the tattoos and t-shirts is amazing!
-
Thanks! I’ve been pushing myself more with freehands – it doesn’t always work out, but I keep at it. 💪
-
Those biker chicks look good. In a biker chick kind of way... ;)
-
Thanks :D

The Biker Boss
The last bike for my gang.
He’s got a machine gun in a scabbard mounted on the frame, she’s holding a Carl Gustav, and there’s a built-in minigun on the bike itself. Rear storage packs are loaded with ammo for both. They’re also carrying sidearms and knives.
Maybe a bit over-the-top for a modern setting, but it should fit right in with anything post-apocalyptic or cinematic.

Wow, think they have enough weapons? :o
Great job on the model!
-
That looks cool. I wonder how hard that bike is to control when the mini-gun is firing? A driver check when its firing might well be in order... :o
-
Thanks!
Yeah, their weapon loadout is pretty ridiculous… Not sure he could actually fire that minigun while driving - I mean, maybe he could squeeze the trigger, but I doubt it’d be anything close to accurate.
-
Thanks!

lol, agreed but would it need to be accurate :o
Fantastic mini painting by the way :-*
-
Thank you!
-
Accuracy was never going to be very high in the first place, the dude is wearing an eye-patch! Under the circumstances, a minigun is probably the best choice - line up on the target area, then sweep across it… if anything is in the beaten zone, it isn’t happy.
-
Great job. How is the game? I have too many zombie games already, and passed on P when I saw "yet another dice game".

Good point :)

Thank you! I haven’t played it yet. I picked up most of the minis during various sales on Warlord’s website, and only got the core box a few months ago. Most of the models are assembled now, so I’ll probably get a game in soon-ish.
-
Carl-Gustav! One of our big Swedish products(alongside IKEA and Volvo) lol.
As others have mentioned it, I recommend stopping and dismounting before using any of the minigun/ C-G.
Your painting is excellent though, great attention to detail :-*.
I've heard those bikers were a pain in the... to assemble but seems worth the effort.
Regarding the game, I've heard the rules were a bit lacklustre and the support was very poor. I therefore bought The Compound off a member at the club cheaply ;).
Regards,
Legionnaire.
-
Thanks a lot! Carl Gustav is actually one of my favorite weapons.
Unfortunately, it’s not popular enough to appear often in modern wargaming ranges, so I was excited to finally put one on a model.
As for the bikes, I didn’t find them particularly hard to assemble. The tricky part came later: once the rider and passenger were glued on, it became tough to reach certain spots while painting.
I haven’t had any experience with the game itself yet, and honestly haven’t heard much about it. So far, I’ve only used the Spec Ops minis in other systems.
-
The bike and riders (and weapons) are an awesome, over-the-top, Mad Max like piece. Love it!
And about that minigun, that bike is going to be riding low carrying anything more than a few seconds of ammunition... lol
Mike Demana
-
Thanks Mike, I'm glad you like them :)
-
That is a cool biker, he must also have a huge stash of ammo :)
-
Thanks! There is some ammo on him and on the bike ;)
-
Full gang assembled – five bikes total. This wraps up the biker part of the project, just deciding what to paint next...

Thank you!
-
That's quite the crew! I'm sure they're all law-abiding, upstanding citizens...
-
Definitely ;)
-
I'm slowly starting to paint my Apocalypse Survivors portion of this project. I have two sets of each - male and female - and I thought it would be fun to paint them in pairs. Same body, but with different weapon arms and heads.
I'm kicking things off with two minis that were probably intended to resemble US law enforcement. One is painted in classic blue to represent a city police officer, while the other one is wearing colors more fitting for a sheriff’s deputy or maybe a highway patrol trooper.
As you can see, they’re missing some of the typical gear and insignia you'd expect from police figures - no radios, badges, or utility belts full of equipment. I imagine that's just part of the post-apocalyptic setting: there's no real police force anymore, so all that's left are sidearms, a couple of spare mags on the belt, and whatever weapons they can scavenge. Badges and full gear aren't much use anymore.

The dead electronics will definitely be the first thing to go. Nicely painted. The detail on the bases is a great addition.
-
Thank you :)
-
They look great and would definitely fit the bill!
