Hello Hive mind
I've been collecting Rackham miniatures for about a year and got quite a few
What seem to be hard to get hold of are the cards.
Plus the rules are very crunchy
So, I'm after a fantasy skirmish game with a bit of crunch
I really like the Confrontation flavour just don't know if I'll ever love the rules
Any and all suggestions appreciated
(Has anyone ever played Wiley games Fantasy)?

The cards and rules are all available here:

As for alternate rules, Confrontation was unique and the best for what it was designed to do, you won't find anything else that will give you the same game.
If you are looking to go simpler/more generic/larger forces then there are hundreds of options from rpg, through rpg lite to dedicated skirmish.
I am sure virtually everyone who answers will have a different recommendation :D

Thanks, I already know about that site and all the cards are out of stock, have been for a long time

There's Confrontation Evo, which was a project to update and balance the old rules as well as fill gaps in some of the underdeveloped armies. They have army books for the factions containing the profiles, I think they also have scans of the original cards.

I haven’t seen that. I’ll have a look and see what’s there

The cards were never "in" stock, they were not sold as products.

You can download the images from the site to print at home, gives you access to all of them.

Ok Robh, I’ll check that out. I’ve ordered stuff from them. I didn’t know you can download the cards. I’ll give it a try.

There's also Gibby's Confrontation Continuum, as promoted here on the LAF:

You cold always use Brutality rules or other 3rd party rules for the figures.
