He seems to be a D&D 3.5 figure rather than a Chainmail one: 40046 Gnoll:

Ah, you're right! Could explain why I was having trouble finding it for sale. With this link and ID I was able to find a few for sale (at not ideal prices). Thanks.

Probably too expensive now to play around with conversions, but the axe head is easily removable with a little work, making weapon swaps simple.  The last one I did (decades ago) got a "meat tenderizer" hammerhead cribbed from a Chronopia Dwarf fig.
