Title: 28mm Hitchikers
Post by: Dice Roller on 02 March 2025, 01:43:04 PM
Does anyone know of anyone producing versions of the main Hitchikers Guide characters - Ford Prefect, Arthur Dent, Trillian, Marvin, and Zaphod?
I am, of course, talking about the original 80s TV series.
I realise there may be 3D files available but I have no access to a 3D printer or any knowledge of it so wouldn't know what I'm buying.
Cheers for your help.

That looks like exactly what I'm after!
I knew they must exist but it's just a matter of guessing what name they give them.
Much appreciated.

They look really good. Denizen miniatures (now Space Denizen) made some in 25mm and may be bringing them out in 28mm, and I think those are the only figures available, unless someone else has done some stl files?

I have a set of the original Denizen 25mm Hitchhikers and they're very nice.  The new upscaled 28mm versions should be nice too.
I don't have the Tangent version of the Hitchhikers but I do have a set of the Tangent Legends of Mull ( figs based on characters from the movie Krull) and although the overall design is good, the quality of the cast figures isn't.  They are a bit rough and flawed.  I suspect the original 3d designs weren't printed out for mastering on a good enough quality 3d printer as some of the figs have inexplicable lines through their faces etc.
