Having played Scouts Out for a while now a friend and I decided to present a game at Battlefields 2025. We added a few rules to cover a night attack and provided the players with squad organization sheets. You can take a look at our efforts here : https://antonswargame.blogspot.com/2025/03/not-so-quiet-on-western-front-scouts.html (https://antonswargame.blogspot.com/2025/03/not-so-quiet-on-western-front-scouts.html)

Very nice looking table.  Some of your tweaks make a lot of sense, I might nick at least the grenades rules.

Looks like a great game. Good to see trenches inset into the terrain like that, much more effective. Very nice work on the display.

Thanks, that is my second trench table, funnily enough it was built for my buddy Kev to use with his Quar troops. My first trench table was built for 20mm (Tumbling Dice, Ceasar, HaT and Airfix minis) a long while back but is fragile and difficult to move.

It looks appalling.  As in it turns your stomach, just looking at all the craters and the trench line gives a visceral reaction of horror.  Bravo!

What a fantastic table!

Great feature with trenches inserted into an elevated feature, which makes them more flexible to use. I will steal that idea  ;)

How many miniatures per side can you max have with Scouts Out?

Re: the table, Thanks guys! My miniature painting isn't the best so I try to compensate with terrain

An experienced gamer could easily handle a dozen or more, my impression is that  the rules are written for fewer. Like most gamers I'm a megalomaniac and push everything to extremes.

Thanks, I was under the impression that it was more like 5-10 miniatures per side so that sounds reassuring  :)
