Went to go to the page about an hour ago. Got a warning, This connection is not private! I wonder what’s up.

It's just that they don't use HTTPS, and so your browser is just flagging it as not secure. But they don't keep any info on your account that would normally need securing, unless you use the same password elsewhere.

Which really isn't recommended, when you put through a forgot password request they send you your current password in plaintext o_o

Yes blocked now from European users

I’m here in the US

Don't do it!
It won't end well lol

He just runs old tech. Not 'safe' but as CAT said it's easy to only use one password there (or be a guest). I only visit randomly for other reasons but I would not be worried about it.

To save you any further concerns about security and TMP. I'm happy to provide you with a summary of what's happening.
Tango will have posted his daily allotment of spam. At least two will have been previously posted by him or another poster and at least one will contain information scraped without the authors consent from their blog. Of the remainder, one will be nudie sculpts, designed to inflame the loins of teenagers with little or no knowledge of female anatomy and the remainder will be New York Post level click-bait of tangental,if any, relevance to the hobby.
Doc McBain will have posted his usual thinly veiled racist screed decrying the loss of Confederate statues, states rights and public lynchings. An 'academic' whose only outlet is an obscure hobby site.
35th OVI will have applauded it all and then posted some racist shite of his own or some whacked out conspiracy theory , claiming that DEI has brung Uhmerica low. Legion 4 will agree and tell you how he discovered the truth while working in the motor pool of the US Army, just in case you forgot he was once in the motor pool of the US Army.
John the OFM will have been predictably contrarian.
Bill will post some news about one of the various assitant 'Editors' (Gwen/Doris/ Imelda etc, etc) and most of their living relatives have almost succumbed to a robbery/ hepatitis/ typhoon/ a cholera outbreak that has some how destoyed their laptop. Please send money. Send money now you rubes! Send enough and you'll get one of his six monthly Editor X has dental work posts, complete with photos.
A pointless poll will have been posted.
There you go. Cut and paste that once a week and you've saved yourself a trip and any concerns about security on the site goes away.
To be honest the most likely spam/phishing example will be Bill forgetting which of his sites he is on and which alias he is using and inviting you to share stories about your earliest sexual experiences as a transgender woman. Just delete anything coming from 'Monty'. ;)
