Title: The Battle of Towton. A Visit

My wife and I paid a very interesting visit to the battlefield of Towton recently. There is a post on my blog if anyone is interested. A really grand day out!!

Thanks for posting. We walked it, as a family group, some years ago.
It was a cold wintery day & very quickly we were all chilled to the bone.
Thankfully we didn't have to cross the stream, instead we honoured a
 local tavern with our business. :D

Similar to our experience, but the pub in Saxton to start with and the pub in Towton to finish made it all worthwhile!!
