Vesa Makela did an amazing job painting a set of my Forge of Ice Peacocks:

Not much more to say than that - I think they look amazing, and I wanted to show them off.
Here's a link to Vesa's blog:

Hopefully, now that I've got a painted set to show off, people will discover that they *need* to buy a few sets! ;)

Lovely and impressive. Very nice and very vivid colours!

Where are those cocks for sale?

OOh they are indeed gorgeous. No use for them but I think I need a set now.
One of my neighbours used to keep peacocks in the garden (snob), thankfully the noisy buggers are all gone now.

I sell them - I've got a few bits and figures for sale through my "Forge of Ice" company:

I'm not too terribly organized yet, but the ordering details are at the link. Basically, send me an email with a list of what you want + your mailing address (so I can calculate the shipping cost), and I'll send you an invoice through Paypal.

Alex,
Do you have a supply of the two stone age weapons sprues yet? And a stock of the different types of tents?

I have plenty of all the tents in stock, but I do not currently have any of my stone age weapon sprues. My family has had some serous medical issues over the last few months, and I haven't been able to have anything new cast, nor have I been able to order any restocks. I'm also nearly out of my turtle shell shields.

I wish that I'd painted them myself, but it was a professional painter named Vesa Makela (in Finland!) who painted them. I'm an alright painter, but I'm not in that league! He does some amazing work for City of Heroes, Studio Miniatures' zombies, Ultraforge's huge critters, and a few other companies.
Here's a link to his blog again:

Alex;
I apologize to Vesa Makela. What tremendous talent. Gorgeous work!! You are very lucky to have had someone paint those figures up for you to such an exquisite detail.

Oooooohhh!!!! amazing brush work!!! :o :o :o

Very yummy ;D

Quite, quite lovely. Gorgeous, subtle brushwork.

They're fantastic - although a cunning swine like myself would have painted them as albinos (two of which I saw yesterday - all white, like ghosts).

Trust me, they look even better in person!
