Does anyone know where I can get a couple of 1980s era Unimog trucks, ideally flatbed or canvas backed, that will work with the Pendraken '10mm' Falklands figures (scale out at 1/170).
I only want them for scenery so underscale (1/200) would not be a problem.
Free STLs that could be resized (1/100- 1/72) also considered. I have found bigger (1/35) but scaling those down has not worked.

Butler do a Unimog 404 which looks similar:

Red3 do a 1/150 scale Unimog 404 in metal

For anyone feeling really flush, there is a German n-gauge (1/160) family of models that include the Unimog 404:

Much appreciated, I don't know if it is an optical thing that the 421 looks more rounded because of the shorter wheelbase or if the cab structure is actually different.
Either way the red3 model looks easy enough to work with, I was not aware of them before.

Good stuff, I highly recommend Red3 models, they are very crisp castings.
If you needed a more rounded metal cab roof, I'm guessing it would be possible to set to with a file on the canvas cover on the cab roof.
Intrigued by the differences, I found this site:
https://matarama.com/en/unimog-series-models-database
from which I extracted these pics

The top one is the 404, the bottom the 421, so yes, the 421 has more rounded bonnet but a straight top to the radiator grill, compared to the 404's rounded top to the radiator grill and straight bonnet.
The Red3 model seems to have the 404 grill and 421 bonnet!

That is the plan. For reshaping I think the Red3 models are a better bet than the Butlers printed ones.
They have a nice little range, if they had an SAS Landrover 110 instead of just the "Pinkie" I could see myself picking up a bunch of bits there.
