Does anyone have a comparison with the 1066 Pulp Saxons compared to other Ranges. I have about 60 of the old Renegade Range of Saxons and want some figures to fit in with these. Looking at the 1066 Range they do appear on the large size.

Here's a picture I took of a 1066 Saxon with a Gripping Beast and Footsore for scale. The footsore guy is a bit hunched over so he ends up looking smaller.

Many thanks, think I will order a pack or two as they do look on the larger side.

I don't think size matters too much once you have them all painted and ranked up- though, I do admit I usually stick to one range.
Where I have strayed into using virtually anything to hand the results have been pretty good,
Rather than hijack then thread I'll stick a link here for you to check the results of mixing, Wargames Foundry (oldest), Wargames Foundry (newest), Gripping Beast (oldest), Gripping Beast (newest), Saxon Miniatures (Now Warlord Games), Drabant miniatures (the largest), Footsore Miniatures (oldest), Footsore Miniatures (newest) and probably other stuff that I've forgotten about!

I hope this helps:
Left Victrix. Centre Pulp 1066. Right Footsore.
