Could someone tell me WHAT COLOUR ARE PRUSSIAN BELTS? White or Black?
Here is an example of 2 pics with 2 belt colours (I've putted them on 1 .jpg)

According to Kaisersbunker.com (http://www.kaisersbunker.com/gtp/waffenrock.htm), it seems like they used black belts, except for some paradeuniforms:

If my memory serves me correctly the Guard regiments wore black leather belts and infantry wore white.
-
The Infantry wore white belts, except for Fuslier battalions who wore black, which is why you have pictures of both types.

The Prussian line infantry used white belts and black cartridge pouches (which has always looked odd to me after the British white belts and pouches). Jaegers would have black, though.
Can't be sure of the Guards, but pics I've seen seem show them in the same belts to the appropriate era line infantry.
Your Funcken plates on the bottom pic show the correct dress for 1870 (labelled 4) and 1900 (labelled 5). If you are doing Franco-Prussian War then go for white belts, as per the Irregular Minis pic in your other thread. As for other German states, I believe the Bavarians had black belts, but no firm idea for the others.
It seems likely that the Kaiserbunker plates show turn of the century uniforms, at least judging by the Prussian.
In case you are not sure - Preussischer is Prussian, Bavarische is Bavarian, Sachsischer is Saxon.
With apologies to our German friends for missing Umlauts and any inaccuracies in translation :(

Fair point and I certainly wouldn't complain if I saw VSF Prussian snipers in early camouflage uniforms etc. I just like to have figures I can use for several different types of games, so with line infantry etc I try to make them accurate unless there's a good reason for them not to be. That's why I have all my 28mm figures on 20mm bases where possible - so I can have my Darkest Africa tribesmen or British regulars fighting Vikings if I want to. I love multi-functionality in wargames figures ;D
Purely VSF figures are fine painted in different colour schemes, but no use for conventional 19thC games, for obvious reasons. ;)

True. VSF paintjobs wouldn't be usable in historical settings. That why I painted all my Prussians in WHITE uniforms wearing BLACK belts. lol

So line infantryman belts was white and black belts was in Fuslier reginemts and other states regiments?
CAN SOMEONE TELL ME DIFFERENCE BETWEEN Fuslier and other line infantry regiments? Who are thouse Fusliers?
By the way. I am going to buy rules for my 15mm (each mini on 20mm round base), so culd someone tell me is there are any difference for Fuslier, Musketeer and Guard Grenadiers in GASLIGHT Rules?

I'm supposed to know the answer to that last question! Gaslight being the rules we use and all.
I don't think there are any cut in stone stats in the book. Only for heroes, captains and regulars and the like. Not specific types.

It's really a historical thing, dating back to the 18thC. Most units carried muskets - hence musketers- and some (more elite) carried smaller lighter weapons called "fusils" In the British army at least, they also had a smaller version of the grenadiers' bearskin cap as a sign of their elite status.
By the later 19thC, all the types listed would act as standard infantry. Grenadiers are normally treated as "elite" troops, so in GASLIGHT you could give them a slightly higher shoot and/or scuffle value and boost their morale. There would only be a limited number available normally, as with most elites. Musketeers and fusiliers would just have the standard stats for their nationality.
Gaslight is a great set of rules and I'm sure you will have a blast playing games with them :D

So Fusileers and Musketeer regiments if Victorian Era carried same weapon? And this different names are only came from 18 century?

Certainly in the UK. Not certain about the Prussians, but 99% sure, so near enough ;)
Even in the earlier period, there was probably no discernible difference in the weapons' effects.

Musketeer regiments pretty much ceased to exist and became the infantry regiments. Fusileers often kept their name and had a slightly different parade uniform but for campaign dress were the same as infantry.

Any pics of Prussian Line Infantry musicians (Drummers, Buglers)??

for these I would always take white webbing

GM has got it right.
This was a time when lots of incremental changes were occurring and thus you really have to be date specific. The dividing line on belt color is somewhere around 1894, when they switched from white to black.
You thus have plenty of wiggle room to paint your belts whatever color you choose.

2 former user
I've found these pics after my question
2 Ray Rivers
I've allready painted officer and standart bearer. They have white belts (black belts will be at elite regiments)
Also I've converted one of my officers into Otto von Bismarck.
PS I am wandering which mini to use for 15mm Queen Victoria

Just observed this topic as I sit on duty painting some 6mm Bavarians! The answer is as above, each Infantry Regt had 3 Bns, the third was designated the Fusilier Bn and had black belts, the Fusilier Regts all wore black belts, this also applied to the Guard Grenadier, Infantry and Fusilier Regts,
