Last year's was a bit disappointing, so fingers crossed it's got a bit more happening this year

It is my understanding that there the tragic loss of a dear friend might have impacted the over all show. Hopefully Claymore is on the up.

I have to say that as a punter I enjoyed Claymore 2024 and am looking forward to Claymore 2025 tomorrow.

My wallet may be less enthusiastic!

I couldn't decide if I was going to go or not. Last year was lacklustre and it's quite a trek to get there, not helped by it being the first weekend of the Edinburgh Festival o_o

However, I decided to go and am happy I did. It was much better this year, with fewer empty spaces. I bought a decent amount of stuff, with an impulse buy of Burrows & Badgers (finally, a use for my Reaper Mouselings!).

I didn't stay that long, but that was more because of the 90 minute bus and train journey than because of the show itself. I haven't seen any photos from the show yet, but the demo games looked pretty good

I usually post photos of all the games but this year my gout was in full swing making it more likely I'd drop the camera than successfully take a picture. So no photos from me. Sorry!

As usual I didn't buy much at the show, though I did pick up a pre-order and bought a couple of pre-coloured scenery items from Irongate and a pre-coloured house from Warbases. There's a theme here isn't there.

I watched games but didn't play any .... too busy talking. Which will come as no surprise to those who know me!

The main draw of the show, for me, was the chance to catch up with people I only see these days at shows and also to chat to traders about things they've produced recently, are about to produce or even might produce in future (please, please, pretty please  :) ).

It's also a chance to see things I might never come across otherwise. I DO NOT need a new 1918 themed WW1 rule system and accompanying figures .... probably .... maybe ...... yet!  lol
There have been a couple of post show orders created and a third yet to be despatched.

I certainly reckon it as a successful day out and a lot of fun.

I only took the one below. My brother-in-law built his own western town, so I suggested this could be his next project :D
