Interesting.
-
I plan to pick up a copy of this when the Amazon POD version goes live.
-
Thanks gents.
It's working its way through the Amazon system now. I guesstimate it'll be listed by the weekend.
-
So does this include all the suplements released for the game, reworked into a new rulebook?
-
Essentially a second edition of the solo and cooperative core rules and supplements. The PvP rulebook, Hostile Takeover, is not included.
-
Is there a reason why there's no POD option on Wargames Vault (genuine question)?
I'd never heard of Amazon POD until you mentioned it here.
-
Yes, there are several reasons.
The short answer is I've learned over the years that it works out better to offer the PDF at Wargame Vault and let Amazon do the printing.

Forgive me as I'm feeling a little 'espeso' this morning, but does this new book essentially render the original rule book and the expansions obsolete?
I have the original rulebook, and I was thinking of getting 'Snitches, Glitches, and DAF Augs' and 'Tsim Sha Tsui', would I be better off forgetteing about those expansions and just gettng the 'Omnibus'?
-
Obsolete? Not really. Use the original if you and your players want. Not like there's an official tournament scene or the Game Police are going to kick down your door.
There are minor changes to the core rules in the Omnibus. Default Movement is changed from 4" to 6", for example. It rolls in material from the TSTE + SGDAF Augs. There are a couple new weapon options for Agents. Fewer Macros. New options for H-SEC and including shadowrun-esque fantasy tropes.
As to which to purchase, I'd suggest the Omnibus. It's complete in itself with all the pertinent material compiled and clarified. Get that and you're good to go.

Tiko Corp. Marines! Don't see those miniatures too much. Good stuff!
-
It was good to get them back in action. They acquitted themselves well, all things considered.
-
Interesting read, thanks.
-
I own all the previous expansions for Exploit Zero, and I have picked this up as well. I must say that it is my favorite go-to cyberpunk skirmish ruleset.
-
Thank you.
It's pretty straightforward. An easy way to get minis on the table and into action.
