Wish I had a fez :-[
What an absolutely stunning game, though. One day before I die I'd love to play on a colonial set-up like that :-* 8)

I've got a major drooling problem right now! ;D ;D ;DStunning layout :o :o

Rock a billy rebel in a fez to boot!! :D

All the factors I look for in a game, superbly painted figures and terrain with a WOW factor of 10!!

Agreed! Wow!
-
Special thanks for the pictures of the teams.
-
hardly a need to comment on the hardware :)
but in addition, whoever made the pictures has an excellent feel for the camera - everything looks very alive and properly framed and everything ;D

'twas the genius of the prof...
-
amazing the man... ;)

there are others here too who could give advice

I'll add my redundant praise too, completely brilliant. I'm envious of that room, it looks bigger than my house and your books are so...neat. I snagged a few pics of some terrain elements to copy, particularly the resin bits built into the sides of mounds and hills, very atmospheric.
Congratulations to all involved.

:o
Utterly gorgeous! The table, the room, the minis, the fez...
-
Wonderful Table, lot of stuff. But not too much.
-
Speechless. Luckily I can still type. lol
Gratzs on a well executed game.
I trust that if all the members were in commuting range, you would have had to issue lottery tickets and have us draw for a space at your table.
Tipping my fez in honor to you, sirrah

I don't usually spend any time on the T&T sub-forum, but glad I did today as otherwise I might have missed this spectacular game!
Very nice, the photos are amazing and there appears to be drool down my chin now... lol

It's the house of Poliorketes, our friendly host :)

Are you sure you all get along?
The poor chap is sitting outside by himself, slaving away with a paintbrush, while everyone else is playing that fantastic game. Shame! :o
;)
lol lol
-
maybe they had a competition, like whoever is not having his gaming turn has to paint something and the results count towards the game outcome? ;)
-
WOW :o :o :o
Great looking game. :-* :-* :-*
Lovely figures and the animal collection is outstanding. :-* :-* :-*
Some of the photos had the look of a nature film.
Out of all the gorgeous things on the table, one thing caught my eye.
The throne :-* :-* :-*
Who built and painted that ???
I would love to hear the story of what went on in the game ???
-

Who built and painted that ???
The throne is from Reaper, sculpted by Bob Olley, painted by me.

WOW :-*
Thanks Prof
-
great terrain, great minis (almost all manufacturers are present there, and special/scarce minis, too), great atmosphere, great photos!
seems also that was a great game!
Much obliged that you shared it with us.
My only question: those animals and the askaris and baggage bearers spent much time in special training? they are fearless!!!
My only criticism: I have not seen any flamingoes, where are they?
-
:D
I would guess the lake is some 2 miles north of the battlefield ;)?
-
Absolutely stunning!
