Title: Cheap photo backdrops for playmats.
Post by: Spinal Tap on 11 June 2025, 11:06:14 AM
Bought from Amazon for £9.99, this is  7' x 5' in size, in a lightweight material I've just washed then dried in the drier to take the fold marks out.

It looks like a good ocean mat and you could possibly spray the other side earth tones for a land mat.

This looks good.

I got a photo backdrop a few years back as it was super cheap for the size. I found the material a bit stiff (even though it's thin) which didn't sit very flat, nor allow hills to be placed under it. I might give it a wash to see what that does.

I the end I got a deep coat mat (probably 10x the price) which gets used frequently due to it being flexible 'normal' material and having grid corners printed on it.
