Title: Warlord's new Italian Wars Pike & Shotte supplement

No apologies for starting a new thread, as the previous one was mainly a discussion around the figure range.
I am looking forward to this as I enjoyed the ECW one the author wrote. Has anyone read a copy yet, if so what are your thoughts?

I bought a copy. Upon first reading it looks good, some interesting ideas around kiels and colunas, i will play a game this weekend and report back on it.

Just starting to go through it.  Noticed a few differences in unit characteristics vis a vis pike & shotte core rules;

Ottomans, Feudal Siphahi  now have lance as well as the Siphahi of the Porte.

Imperialist, Reiter.  No longer have caracole.  Now have fire & evade.

Yes, I have always thought the caracole rule to be a very unimaginative rule.  Effectively just another name for stand and shoot.

Yeah, the Caracole rule didn't really represent Caracole. I'm not sure that they needed a special rule though Fire and Evade may work pretty well.
