Title: I’m looking for a thread

Somebody fairly recently (probably within the last 6 months, certainly no more than a year) posted some photos that I would like to see again. All that I remember is that they were warhammer wood elves, perhaps early 90s, painted in a pretty grim fairly tale like style and the game they were being used for was a skirmish game that I had not heard of, I believe the setting of the game revolved around a forest.

All very vague, but perhaps it rings a bell for someone or was your post.

Are you sure it was here on the LAF? If not, there's been a series of posts on Malacassa's Oldhammer Blog (https://malacassaoldhammer.blogspot.com/search/label/Wood%20Elves) covering his Wood Elf army that might fit your description.

Sounds like my stuff.

The game was called The Woods, by Geoff Solomon-Sims. He's recently dropped hints about a new edition coming soon, focussed on the skirmish version of the rules.

I like the Malacassa army... would love to get hold of some of those Copplestone archers. EM4 seem to have very limited stock though.
