I see Warrior Miniatures are back, a very pleasant surprise. That means Gallia Miniatures are back too.
I would like to buy some Gallia Miniatures. However, I'm not sure what size 15mm they are ?
If anyone owns any and can advise I would be grateful. If anyone has any pic's even better.
Thank you.

I have many hundreds of the Gallia 15mm Warring States Chinese range but none of the Colonials.
For what it is worth the Chinese are a perfect height and bulk match with Chariot and Outpost 15mm, slightly frailer than Minifig but same height. I mix figures from the 4 ranges without any issues
I think they would work with Donnington and early Gladiator also.
Comparing to other era 15mms in my collection they are a head taller than Peter Pig, Naismith or Essex but similar bulk, YMMV but I don't think they look right together
Similarly with bigger/bulkier ranges like later Gladiator, Lancashire, Old Glory or Museum these all make Gallia figures look small and puny.

Thanks Robh. That is helpful.
I have some Lancashire Zulus. True 15mm, multi pose and on the slim side. Lancashire 15mm British Regulars are about 20mm. A serious no go.
I'm hoping that Gallia are similar in size to Naismith. I have some Naismith British cavalry and they are a perfect fit with the Lancashire Zulus.

I just tried looking up Warrior Miniatures and the site shows last updated in 2021. Are you sure there is a new availability? For Gallia there was only a Zulu Kraal listed for colonials. The company that has Miniature Figurines also has some of the old 15 mm Warrior Miniatures - or did last I looked but that was a few years back.
So, if you have a link to the new site, please share!

Probably the link you already have seen. But! I read somewhere that someone had ordered from them by phone this year.

Warrior are definitely back in production, I have an order on the way to me currently.
John spent a month or so catching up with pending orders from the period they were unavailable but is now working on new orders. I believe everything is cast on demand now.

Ah, well, I guess that is good. And it looks like most of the colonials are under the special sets for Gallia. Alas, the items I'd hoped for don't seem to be there - some of the animals they once had. Not a big issue, long since find substitutes elsewhere and already painted and table ready.
There are a photos within the site if you explore it - like of the Zulu kraal which has some figures in it, small to see but there.

Gallia figures have short legs. Similar in bulk to Essex figures stocky, but short legs.
And big hats.
Will try to get some pics of my afghans.
Their equipment, horses, and artillery and great.

Thanks Deflatermouse.

I too would love a peek of those badmashes of yours, Deflatermouse! Especially since I’ve always had a bit of a sentimental wobble for the old-school sculpts from before the Millennium. Proper character in those, if you ask me!

They are back? Yesssss! Finally!

I ordered some figures from Warrior by email on Monday. Today I got a reply.
They have got lots of orders and there is a 6 week turnaround as a consequence. That was fine by me and I await my order.
I imagine the turnaround will reduce once things settle down.
