Title: Colonial British infantry 28mm
Post by: Floki on 01 August 2025, 11:06:58 PM
I recently purchased the following second-hand miniatures but the seller could not tell me who the manufacturer was.

Their uniform appears to be 1870s Zulu War but they are armed with Snider-Enfield rifles and their pith helmets have puggarees.

Bases say AB5, AB7, AB8 and AB14

Anybody out there have any ideas who made these?

Definitely Castaway Arts. Surprisngly little known manufacturer who makes some very nice figures and some relatively obscure ranges.

Yes, Gerry Webb of Castaway Arts has a very wide range of Colonial era figures that are all nicely done.
