Having just painted the High King we decided to give him baptism of fire before the paint was fully dry. 450 points of Midgard troops slugging it out. He brought off a narrow victory! My baby brother used to have that Hinchcliffe Persian King. Thanks for the nostalgia kick.  :)

Think I might have asked this before? Can you play the game without a plethora of tokens all over?

Bare minimum I think would be character stuff handled off-table, and you'd have to show the stamina loss to the units and mark Charging/Winning units on the table. Unless you also wanted to record stamina loss somehow off-table.

Harry you can always use sasticmething that looks like it might belong on the table, rather than bright plastic discs etc.
e.g. for Rebels & Patriots a small chicken next to a unit = 1st level panic, & a wounded figure = 2nd level panic (3rd level = off the table  lol lol lol)
