Title: Rezolution / Bladerunner Boys in Blue
Post by: brasidas19004 on August 20, 2025, 03:38:10 PM
Worked out the method I'm going to use to layer-up in blue from a black prime.
Overall, think it is 90% there:

Great to see Rez figures getting some love. One or two duffers, but in the main a wonderful range of figures, a great background and a very good set of rules.

If you look back at some of the older Rez:ADT posts, they talk about assembling the CSO officers which unfortunately requires some hobby skills.

Agreed.  Working on getting some new players in my area, Philadelphia, PA USA.  If you know anyone who may be interested, push them my way!  :D

Still in print, and Noble Knight is having a sale!  Also, the Aberrant page https://www.aberrantgames.com/darktomorrow.html is still selling them.

They also have a Facebook page for Rezolution too.
 Some great pictures on there.

Oh Boy, does that bring up memories!  I have their "not Yakuza" gang, a handful of their Ronin miniatures, and a few Deravani, who I believe were evil alien businessmen?  Loved the game back in the early 2000's but it never found a scene at my local game store.

Yes, I try to post some of the great pics when I have them!
Hopefully, will have more, soon, as I'm finishing my first faction up.
You aren't anywhere near Philly, are you?

Dravani are evil alien vampire types.  They got into business, naturally!
Yeah, the APAC are the not-Yakuzas, and they are my second faction to work on after my CSO are done.
You still in Redding, CA?  Will be trying to get this going out here in Philly.

Chiming in because all my favorite minis nerds are here!

Great line, and a fine start.

Great stuff! I had forgotten about Rezolution but your minis and that logo have bought it flooding back. I do like those chunky troopers and the APAC ninja lady - the flat stance is fine as she’s mid Yoko Aruki (a stepping form) which can be used for jumping, directional change and in multiple beneficial ways whilst hitting your opponent (also useful for ledges)  lol

I think I have a pack of these somewhere. I was going to use them as a merc team for hire in Necromunda games with swapping out the arms.

The proportions are a little funky as are the poses but they have a charm I like, plenty of character in them.

Yeah... the goal was to be a bit "cinematic" and I think they achieved that. Sort of Fifth Element, Bladerunner, Matrix [Matrices?] and such.  It's a future dark enough to be a bit comical.   :D

.....I have their "not Yakuza" gang, a handful of their Ronin miniatures, and a few Deravani........

That pretty much sums up my collection of Rez figures also, the APAC "not Yakuza" are really great figures.

....Sort of Fifth Element, Bladerunner, Matrix........

Can't go far wrong with that combination as your inspiration, amongst the best non-anime sci-fi sources around.
