Damn, unfotunately I'm not able to open the TGN site, due to the firewall of my office. Would anyone post the news and the pics here?

Northstar Military Figures have released new free army lists for the Death in the Dark Continent colonial rules.

From their announcement:
The sixth set of free army lists for the 19th Century Africa wargames rules ‘Death in the Dark Continent’ are available to download now. Please visit the Ruga Ruga Publications section of the North Star website.
The sixth set covers the Horn of Africa, and includes armies for:
•The Somalis & Danakil
•The Gallas
•The Beja
•Italian Colonial
The photo above is a sneak preview of the new line of 28mm figures North Star will be making for Death in the Dark Continent, these first figures are the Matabele warriors.
To tempt you to try these new rules, they will be available post free worldwide for the next couple of weeks.
All lifted shamelessly from TGn just so Alex can see it.

Thanks a lot, Svennn :)

The look kind of generic to me. Nothing that really shouts out Ndebele, apart from the chap on the right with his tiny head-ring. A cynical person might wonder if they were hoping to catch customers gaming the Zulu War too. It's just a preview, though. Hopefully later releases will include some chaps in full feathered finery with all their silly pom-poms and what-have-you.
I'll probably get some if they do, even though I have no gaming plans for them.

Is it me, or is that army list not on the rugga rugga section of North Star?

Nick from North Star has said on TMP that among the initial release are also warriors in full regalia, including pom-poms and other feathery goodness. :)

This is the kind of thing I'd be hoping for...

Plus screamy pom-pom guy from the Osprey (who I couldn't find a picture of).

On the north star site you have to click on the rules description. Then the additions are in the text.
