Oooh, love the nightgaunts! I tried the same colour scheme, but you managed to pull way more depth out of the model. Definitely a fig that suited your style perfectly.

Yeah, great job. Easily the best Nightgaunts I've seen.
-
very good like your style :-*

Very nicely painted, although I'm not sure I like the nightgaunt figures themselves - the wing-hands look fat-fingered, at least in the few pictures I've seen so far.
Poor "Lucky" Watson, though... are you keeping track of the number of times and ways he gets "lucky"? :)

Great jobs!!! Especially on the Night-Gaunts...these are my least favorite models in the Strange Aeons line so far but you make 'em look great!

thanks everyone.
I agreed with the general sentiment myself too, before i got them in hand.
The sculptor has gone a different route than all the other nightgaunts i've seen.
The ends of the wings are kind of 'fat fingered' because the wings are modelled as hand extensions, rather than the more common 'arm extension' type of wing.
It certainly makes the one with spread wings very imposing.
It's also worth mentioning that the sculpting on the backs, (particuarly the one with folded wings) is strikingly good, and i really like the hunched over pose of the smaller one, like he is rubbing his hands in glee over his next kill.

Good stuff as usual. Really like the colors on the Night Gaunts. Really makes them dark and menacing. Your painting style works perfectly on the ghouls too! Makes them really evil and it makes them pop really well 8)
