Outlaws Most Heinous All

The lighting and contrast on this shot is a little odd.  Miniature photography in Ireland in December can be a bit like that.  The reds are not quite as ketchup-y and the rest of the areas have a little more definition "in the flesh", honest :)

The figs are intended for use in Space Western and post-apoc games.

C & C welcomed as ever.

Lovely.   ;D

Is the gent with the pistols a deadlands figure?

Great figures! :D

@P_Clapham

The miniature is from Copplestones 'Wasteland Desperados' miniature set, which included the undead cowboy and three other very distinct miniatures. They can be found here (http://www.copplestonecastings.co.uk/range.php?range=FW).

The pistol armed guy is one of the Copplestone "Wasteland Desperadoes".  The other three are old Warzone Legionnaires.

Very nice though the reds, greys and yellows appear a bit light in the pictures. I'm sure it looks better in reaal life though as you said 8)

I wanted to get that dusty, spaghetti western look on the main figure, but I didnt want to use too much beige.  Additionally, having figures with died out skin in addition to dried out clothes did mean that the overall look had to have some brighter colours added.  The trousers being more yellow than tan would be the main example.

It mostly worked.  The colours have been bleached out by the little bit of post photo contrast/brightness tweaking alright.  The painting was intended to look a little bleached out all the same, perhaps a little too much so.

Thanks for the feedback :)

I haven't seen those undead legionaries in a long time!

-feels the winds of nostalgia blowing-

Great paintjob, the undead legionares looks awesome. I wish they would have been the standard undead legionare insted of the skeletons with lots of fantasy clothes we got stuck with.
