This pcture is from one of the Osprey books. Not sure which one but I am sure i have it at home. Either the Alamo or the Mexican-American war.

is there any place on the WWW where one can see all the US uniforms of the volunteer units?
they seem quite interesting - it also seems that some US units nowadys derive their lineage from these??
