Title: xmas terrain project, construction, thing
Post by: voltan on 25 December 2009, 06:41:26 PM
Not entirely sure why but apart from watching all the lord of the rings movies today, I has also been working on a 28mm-ish portacabin, it's a modular type construction you can see all 4 different wall sections there and each cabin will use 6 in all and another 6 corner/long joiner bit thingies.

E-bob falklands marine for scale, if you don't have one it's about so high....

Looking very good indeed! I'm not sure about the first floor external door though :?  Maybe if you paint the squaddies as Paras .... lol

I recognize those figures, but can't quite place them - are they TAG?

They look perfect for 21st Century UNIT from DR Who.

possibly a full ground floor and an upstairs with two "wall" pieces
no door?

nice work.
quick turnaround as well !

I'm just casting these for myself at the moment, because the corner pieces are very akward t cast, but I figured out I'd made the mould a bit more complicated than it needed to be  :( so if I can find some more silicoln I'm gonna make a new simpler mould and see how that works

You know if I see those things around here they do tend to have upper story doors. (locked I hope) since they need to be able to deploy by themselves as well.
