Found this bottle of wine recently and thought the zombie players might appreciate it:

Neither; tea.
-
Depends on the specific preparation, and to a degree the time of year. I generally go for a nice hearty Italian Red.
-
Its not a bad little zin and rates out in the mid 80s.
Human flesh though might be a bit more of a beer drink.
-
I have all three bottles of the Greatful Dead wine. Unfortunetly they are all non-alcoholic.
-
since human flesh tastes like pork, I'd classically go with red
but You might also need something stronger ;)
-
Cornetto!
:D
-
I always thought it was a nice Chianti and fava beans, but I could be mistaken lol
-
Zinfandel? Surely that must be too heady! One's heard one tastes like chicken.
-
won't ask who said that to You, filthy scumbag ;) ;) ;) 8)
take a shower :)
-
no... the comment was "this tastes foul", not fowl. lol

True, but a white wine for the brains I reckon 8)

Err... I don't want to know how you found that that out!!! :o

reported by Aztecs and judging by the smell
actually the Aztecs who did not know pigs thought the spanish were related to pigs
-
So not first hand knowledge, then? That's a relief! lol

well, the smell is first hand for anyone who has ever seriously burned himself.
what did Dr. Lecter serve with the brains in "Hannibal" btw?

obviously
I'm surprised it is available on Youtube - no sex but brain eating ;)

Another Lecter fan (if such a thing is possible for such an evil man) ;)
-
If you're following the Aztec cooking tips shouldn't it be served with hot chocolate ?
-
certainly not the brains
it would kill the delicate taste! - barbarian! ;) ;)
-
I suppose the brains would be more suitable for a rose or perhaps a sweet dessert white ?
-
I'd go with champagne for the brains
brain vinaigrette works very well
-
Hm, this thread didn't exactly go the way I was expecting, but then, I suppose I should expect that. :)
-
which way did You expect? :)
-
I really don't know if any of you have eaten animal brains... but they taste better with scrambled eggs! 8)
-
I have, but not this version, of which I heard is quite spread over cultures
-

But, unless they are very runny, scrambled eggs aren't easy to drink.
-
are You competeing with Hammers ? ;) ;)

Some mention of the wine itself. It's like my message was completely overwhelmed by my subject line. Weird. :?

lol
...and I'll Leave the task of drinking raw eggs to Silvester Stallone! :D
but regarding the first question, I would go for the red wine :)

with so many Zombie players...
OK, let's have a try:
The says suggests Zinfandel, right?
ist a barrique?
Does Zinfandel go with barrique at all?
and I can't read the year....
I am not a true fan of Zinfandel, although it says it is similar to Primitivo
ever tried Negroamaro?

I'm not sure I feel better. ;)
-
I'm not pretending :)
My favourite wine nowish is Sicilian Nero d'Avola - without Human flesh ;) or brains - actually pure or with pasta
it says it compares to Shiraz, whatever this might be ;)
-

I was surprised as well, but there it was 8)
I'm not really a wine drinker so I can't really comment on it, I prefer some zombeer:

I'm sorry I missed this corking good bevvy of bad puns, though I reckon I'd have bottled out at telling all those vintage jokes... I bet you can't cap this without screwing it up unless you have a moment of Claret-y!
-
Sad part is, I opened the thread assuming it was some sort of tongue-in-cheek (no pun) discussion of painting techniques. ::)
