Title: Discriptive Setting Question
Post by: Alfrik on January 04, 2010, 04:54:41 PM
Alright, your game is laid out, your giving the short background information to the players before starting the first turn. The game involves natives that are currently in the stoneage tech level but living amongst the crumbled former star traveling or some similar very high level of civiliazation that they had attained. A very standard story theme used by ERB and Andre Norton etc.

Im seeking words to describe the natives condition beside:

Degenerated, or Former etc.

Suggestions?

Devolved (or de-evolved), retrograde, regressive, deteriorated, debased, perverted, waning, retrogressed, backslid.

Also you could describe them as living among the ruins of their prediluvian greatness, or something.

In other words, positively Norwegian.
