Title: John Carter of Mars
Post by: Conquest on 29 April 2007, 01:43:23 AM
So, I'm needing a few air ships for my 'Mars' games. Any ideas?

I have a couple of the Star Wars desert skiffs, I could cut off the rutters on the side and rebase them, but I'll know they're Star Wars and it will bother me.

I have some Flagship Games Pirates! ships too, but these seem too erm...Piratey!

Uh, help?

The Star wars skiff makes a nice conversion. There's a tutorial here from the salute site

I made a suitably martian cloudship out of a Seaquest DSV model. I've got a picture of it on my site

David at Bronze Age is working on Martian air ships, I think. I don't know where the project is at this point and when they might be released, but a couple of months ago he had gotten pretty far.

@Skrapwelder- Those Kroot Green Men are just awesome! Great idea, and great work.

Indeed. And I just got an extra box of Kroot and completely free Sunday afternoon in front of me.

This is all John Carter's fault.
