But what can t you tell me about it?
Any fun? How many figs? Two player, or multi-player? What is the table size? 28mm? What kinda mechanics does it use? Are the rules easily grasped? Good replay value? What do I need to play?
Any other info would be helpful also...
Thanks!

hi richard (again!) I was going to post your TMP query on here to get people to answer it, but i see you beat me to it :)
I've already answered over there so won't repeat myself here, except to say, It's great, you won't regret buying it,

Yea... I for got all about this sub-board... Hence when you mentioned it, I re-posted my query over here...

We have a demo package you can download from or website over at www.strange-aeons.ca. There's a limited selection of weapons and fixed enemies, but it'll give you a good idea of the game mechanics.

Well, I took the plunge and ordered it.
And like the guy I am... I get in deep, so I also got the Deck too...
I will give it a few 'gos' and will report back.

That will be in the post tomorrow. Hope you like it!

My comments on Strange Aeons have already been posted by a fellow LAF member over at TMP, but I will reiterate them and point out again just how unique, and different these rules are.
I'm currently in the process of gently modifying the system for use in a Science Fiction setting. Gentle modifications in this case meaning simply changing the names of certain lurker types, altering certain skills, maybe swapping a stat here or there to represent what the investigators are facing. For example, Zombies in my game will become "Void Droids", that is to say, robots who have been drifting by themselves in an infected ship for over one hundred years, and as a result of few memory wipes, poor maintenance, and little
human contact, they've become.. quite insane, actually.
I'm also greatly honored that Mike is allowing me to playtest some new rules, and these will be taking a prominent part in my campaign.
I hope to have a topic posted regarding the project soon.
Anyway, the point is, this is a very robust, unique system, worth a read if nothing else. But definitely worth a play, or more;)
