Hi again,
in addition to all the Gear Krieg books and expansions I am also working on a book about Panzer Prototypes or Projects. The E-Series naturally captures some of my attention...
The model is a 20mm Cromwell E-100 Dual Flak with additional AB crewmen.
I really like the crewmen, the "scanning the skies" look was IMO very fitting.
Another pic can be found here: http://www.adpublishing.de/html/20mm_german.html (http://www.adpublishing.de/html/20mm_german.html)

really nice agis, love your 20mm stuff

Now, while it is lovely as usual, is it a bad sign that my first thought was "oh, now Agis has done one of those", followed by "I'm not sure but I like the one on the Maus chassis better"?

What is wrong with "one of those"?
IMO ugly as sin, but better looking as a Maus, or?

They're looking up at the wing of 8"-rocket-carrying Typhoons that are about to wipe them off the face of the earth, right? ;D
Nice model, regardless! I love the ambush camo with the rings of colour, I think I'm going to keep that camo scheme in mind for some SF armour, next time I do SF armour!

Now can we have one in 28mm :D

What I meant is, I wasn't in the least surprised either by the design (which I've known for some years now) or that you did one. I think it's a worrying sign of treadhead syndrome that I now instantly recognise tanks that weren't even built. o_o lol

There is a fitting 1/48 model from Gasoline!
Being an really HUGE tank 1/48 might not hurt in 28mm games, or?
;)

Surely it would be a Tempest II ?
