These are some recent scenery finds I made. They were all relatively cheap for what I got. Thought I'd share.
These Egyptian pillars are from Petco (Big Box pet store in the US their stuff is on-line as well) They were normally $20 but I got them for $10 each in the Aquarium stock.

These pillars and statues are also from Petco aquarium stock. The big'uns were $5 and the little'uns were $1.

These were Wal-Mart Aquarium items. $7 for the heads and ruins, and $3 for the bridge.

SWEET! I am going to look for some of those. :D

Great looking stuff there Dave. :)

Absolutely great. Pet shops really are a place to look for these things. Unfortunately they tend to be rather expensive. But they sure look good.
-
They are a darn sight better than the offerings our petshops in the UK get. Only a wargamer could go to a petshop and look for something that can be used for the hobby. I love that.

Those are great. I keep scouring our local WalMart and have never seen any of those particular items. I especially like the large East Indian looking heads. I would love to get my hands on a few of those for a number of different genres that I game.

Absolutely nice! Everytime I go for a pet or aquarium shop here and have a look about nice terrain pieces all I see is just crap ... :-I

I've snagged a very lage Triceratops and "Human" skull from Walmart. The Dinosaur skull I'm going to leave as it, the human skull is going to be converted into Skull Island stone carving.

Sadly she was a Ltd run figure made by a gaming club. I bought her from them at a model show a few years ago. I don't even know the name of the club. Sorry :(

Managed to find something similar to these at Pets at Home stores in U.K. , bit expensive but nice ready made terrain .

I have some aquarium items from petshops that i picked up a few years ago that are great terrainery pieces. Vine covered crumbling walls and arches, fallen trees. The company that made them is still around, I'll see if i can find the name.

I usually raid the $2 shops. I have a big shoe box full of aquarium plants that is overflowing. That was a good expedition. I went to various suburbs working my way through them.
I haven't had much luck with Pet Stores, but many of the $2 shops have pet items and general home thingies to make it look nice.
There's one shop near my work that has a big resin castle. Needs a bit of work, but the point is these places can be gold mines :D
Thanks for sharing those, I'm going to start looking at budget shops again!
