This is the start of my roaring 20's game. Mr Big is supposed to be out of scale...Because he's Mr. Big. He's a repainted Heroclix "Kingpin". The gals are Copplestone's Gun Molls. I wanted Mr. big to have an all-girl gang. Let me know what you think. As always my pics are crappy.

Nice painting and you sell yourself short on your photography skills.
-
Very nice. I really like the skin tones and the purples.
-
What a cool idea! I think your repaint definately improved Kingpin.
-
That’s a really well painted little gang 8)

Looking very good, I like the paint jobs and theme you've got going there. In regards to your photography issues, I wish I had your problem. ;)

awesome looking gang

Beautiful clean painting. :D

I like the re-paint for Mr. Big.
Looks well done all around!

I really like the painting, very smooth. Good work! I think I'm going to look around my Heroclix for some victims to repaint!
-
There is also a new Kingpin in the Hammer of Thor heroclix set.

He's #2 in the set and is common as dirt. (I think I have 2-3 extra here)

Beautiful clean painting. :D
What he said. Thats a really cool gang.
As already mentioned, your purples are great. I tend to struggle with purple personally.
-
I can only agree. Nice painting! The models all have their own individual appeal. And I love the repainted Kingpin. Hm, I have one flying around somewhere. The idea of an all girl gang with a sugar daddy is wonderful. Reminds me of the Mansons...

Great Kingpin repaint!
-
Very nice, as I have all of these figures (inc) Mr Big I may be stealing this idea ;)
-
Very crisp and clean and even!
:-*
Great looking gang and I like the idea of the ladies looking after him.
Who wouldnt?
I have that Kingpin somewhere and I may have to find him now......
-
Super painting.
Look forward to seeing their adventures.

Very nice gang. I just received an order from Copplestone that included the Gun Molls. Nice figures.
As already mentioned, your purples are great. I tend to struggle with purple personally.
Start with your basic purple. To do the shading lighten the base colour using a very pale bone colour. White will work with the red pigment within the purple and will tend towards pink. Light Bone won't do this. It will just lighten the purple nicely.

Love the Kingpin repaint. I've seen alot of him and that sculpt looks great when redone. The purple jacket makes him feel just "pimpish" enough as well. Amusingly, I saw a guy wearing a very similar jacket in person the other day.
