I bought the three packs of Battlefront hills and I repainted them (the original colour is grey) to match the terrain that I already have.
The hills are nicely textured and are easy to paint. The bottom is covered with a black felt cloth. The hills are sold with a very small pack of static grass (just enough to base two 28mm figures) so I had to use extra packs of static grass to flock my hills.

They seem to fit well with 28mm too.
Would you say that was a "good investment" or even a "good value for money"?

For skirmish games, definitively. They are cheaper than GW ones and they look more natural. For larger battles, they are a bit too irregular to move a unit across without problems (even with a movement tray).

That could be the reason why they are called rocky hills in all three versions. ;)
All I can say they are a very good quality for the asked price.
