Title: Singapore 1938

Anyone got any info or can point me in the right direction for source material on Singapore in the late 30's. Usual sort of things- military deployment, political situation, relations with neighbours, crime and smuggling etc

 J G Farrel's novel Singapore Grip is an excellent read,very evocative of the times.
