that's my first post here so as infroduction I decided to bring one of my minis - based on sketch from CoC rpg rulebook :)
now I want to make other project based on CoC fluff (3 of 4 mad cthultists are already painted)
anyway just wanted to say that as CoC great fan and keeper of secrets I'm f***in' happy I've found this forum so expect more spam from me :D

That is one beautiful beastie! :o :o :o
As if the figure was not good enough, the paint job is excellent as well!
Thanks for sharing. I feel the madness creeping in already!

That thing is disgusting and horrible.
And I mean it in a good way. :)
-

oh my!
i think i failed my SAN check... :P
and when can we expect a copy of that for each of us here?
Do you have any "in progress" photos of the construction and the painting?

ZOMG!!! Just brilliant! :o
-
Very nice. Did you sculpt the whole thing or is it a conversion? Either way its really good with great painting.
-
Man, this really is one weird and creepy sucker!
The dynamics of the sculpture and the paintjob are excellent!
Would You let us in on what putty You did use?
-
Looks like he used Super Sculptey and the shattered dreams of madmen to make that.
The painting really, really makes it work. It looks like oily darkness! :D :o

thanx for kind words :)
I've finally found the proper temple where I could spam my cthulhish stuff

there are no useful WIP piccies unfortunatelly because as I mentioned it was experiment (mad experiment! bwahahahahahaha... :P ) and there was a chance I'll fail to finish the whole thingy;
next time I can make some step-by-step pics to show the process of raising of this slimy guy
about casting: although I have possibility to cast stuff this model would probaby be uncastable :( every tentecle has been drilled and pinned o the body and there are also wires inside to make whole construction stronger;
and last thing: I can't imagine writing the instruction of adding ~30 tentacles to the monster's body
Did you sculpt the whole thing or is it a conversion?
100% sculpt, the only parts I used were:
- paper clips
- string
- 3 transistors (IIRC that's the proper name of these patrs)
- sth I've found on the bottom of my bitz-box and here it's supposed to be antenna of any sort (the main idea was to make cyber-cthulhish beast: summoned by mad cultists, bounded, upgraded with electronic stuff and released back)
Would You let us in on what putty You did use?
greenstuff, milliput, fimo

:o :o AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRR
you are a genius
-
Raah! That's horrible... wonderful!
-
hmmm...
encouraged by positive feedback I'm spamming onother one
this was made about last easter and was another test of some "technical" solutions
the whole backgroung story is:
tank crew drove too far on the patrol, vehicle stucked in swamp, crew abandoned it; after many years tank was "found" by ctonian-like monster living there and now You can see it trying to find anything tasty inside (canned meat :P )
