There is a new manufacture (small – one man show) of some nice buildings for North Africa and the Near East. Originally they are made for 20mm scale but you can also use them along with 28mm miniatures. The buildings will be available in a couple of weeks. Here are some pictures of some of the upcoming things:

very very nice :-*
-
Sweet. I salute the man for knowing how to present his goods to the market. The set up and photography is very appetizing.
-
These look very nice indeed. I'm guessing they are handmade from board, like the Colonial Steamboat company's, and various others who make and sell this kind of stuff? As opposed to resin casts? (They're clearly not solid resin like Grand Manner). Or they could be resin kits like the recent TSS buildings?
-
They are indeed very nice. Some simple touches on those really lift them to the next level.

Laser-cut cardboard pieces, to be assembled. I had seen the 6mm Cold War things he mastered over the last few weeks, but those look even better - I should get a bunch for my East Africa stuff.
-
Dang! Now I need to go back to my Sudan stuff and spice up a couple dooraways and windows!
Just when I had finished the buildings and was moving on to terrain boards, they pull me back in!
(I am yelling, overacting and gesticulating with my hands, Al Pacino style as I say that) (That is kinda fun. "I know it was you, Fredo!" Now I'm laughing )
:)
Really nice stuff. Thanks! ;)
I can find none of the african/near east stuff on his sight :-[

A lesson that we should all slow down a bit and do other posters the courtesy of taking the time to read their posts fully (not that I always do that, by any means). The original poster clearly stated that these are previews and the models will be available in a couple of weeks. That would be why you can't find them on the site. :)

I thought the pics would be up. (they have a "gallery" section and all, and I also looked for coming soon. )
I was just dissapointed that I couldn't find more pics.
;)

So these are for sale unpainted in 28mm, or are you just showing off your master terrain building skills? ;)
-
They will be on sale unpainted soon.
-
Very nice buildings.
-
Do the roofs lift off?
-
Beautiful design and cast - I'll have some when available.
-
Yes, you can lift off the roofs.
-
:o lovely terrain and beautifully painted figs. Particularly like the Mashrabeya (wooden window shrouds).
-
Very very nice!! I'll be getting some. Lovely paint job on the mini's. The palm trees in the background look fantastic too.
-
Frank, I love 'em!
I have lots of Sudanese and Zanzibaris and they would be perfect for both. They would also work for Fantasy, or even certain SciFi games set in the desert. Conan would love thieving and fighting in this sort of town ;)
How can I resist ;D

I couldn't figure out how to join a mailing list on the website. Could you please be sure I get any future announcements?
I'm chicklewis@aol.com
And I want your building kits !

Just seen this on the site:

I know it's intended as 1/72, but it definitely has potential for 28mm Colonial/Victorian era games too.
Carts are always useful :D
-
lovely peices, very neat. Welcome to the happy band of traders I wish you good luck for when you launch your range.

A glimpse on his side shows me that the wagon is now available in 28 mm. Also another cart - called a british supply wagon - is shown there.

Absolutely beautiful. Hoping these will be available soon.

Very, very nice models, and wonderfully atmospheric. :-*
-
I saw a picture of an old building in Kenya today, that had those exact decorative, arched doors.
So, I find a [icture of a perferct stone and adobe Colonial building for a port tile for my Sudan project. I get the picture, and it looks very African, and I find out that it was a building in Antwerp. :?
-
The palm trees in the background are from PREISER, a German company:

Great presentation, and some of them look as if they can be used for India around the mutiny as well. 8)
-
Those are some rather splendid looking buildings and very evocative… beautiful! :D

Wow! :o
Resistance is futile....have to get some!!
-
These buildings look wonderful :-*
Any news on when they will become available?
-
How are you doing on availability??
-
Beautiful stuff.
I want one of those machines where you can enter your digital plans and it cuts it out of the material for you!
Cheers
-
They are available now!!! :)

The price is for the four sides of each floor, or only the front showed in his shop?? ???
-
The price is for 4 walls and 1 plate which can be used as a roof. Also comes with 2 items that look like 6 wooden beams (can't imagine that) to keep the roof in place methinks.
-
Really??
Me thinks this is quite reasonable.
Whats the catch? Postage to the UK?
Cheers
Andy

Nice!!!
