Finally found some pics of a large game we played two years ago (with lots of stuff still unpainted and little in the way of nice details):

Edit: note the reddish thing in the second picture - that was the main objective: one of the very few working coke machines outside the Soelilandian capital...

Indeed - we had four different factions plus the UN (me), on which everybody else decided to turn first; I had exciting five minutes... :) In the end the CinC held the field with her superior tanks (the Centurions) and amply aided by her main opponent through spectacularly poor dice throwing.
Well, Coke for her, Aspirin for the rest of us... :)
Incidentally, these are all 20mm/1/72 figures, vehicles by Airfix, Heller etc. and buildings rather cheapo cardboard printout ones. These we still use, though the vehicles etc. look slightly better now.
