Title: New Champions of History from Black Army, Now Available
Post by: Doc Twilight on 03 February 2010, 11:22:22 AM
Hi, everybody.

Well, the metal castings for our new CoH miniatures came back, and I'm very pleased with them. Have polished them, photographed 'em, and put them in the catalog, so they're now ready for sale, after a long wait. I hope you're as pleased with them as I am.
As usual, scale is 28mm to the top of the head, with some natural variation in height.

I apologize in advance that I'm having some issues with the Gallery photo function, so I have linked these from Photobucket for the moment. Once I can get them uploaded, I'll add some links for the photos for those of you who can't read Photobucket due to firewalls and such.

All of these were sculpted by Leandro Ventic using photographic (or, in the case of Julian) sculptural evidence. I think he did an amazing job.

CH04 - Julian II "The Apostate", "Enemy of the Galileans, Friend of the Jews". Comes with a mount, though you can use another, if you prefer. Price is $6.50.

CH05 - John Dillinger, Bank Robber. John comes with an open hand and three weapon options - a Tommy Gun, a .22 Target Pistol, and his specially modified, auto firing Super .38 with a 30 round clip...

CH06 - Mata Hari. The original "Femme Fatale" herself. Mata comes with no weapons, other than those God gave her. She's dressed in one of her favorite dance costumes, from a boudoir photo dated around 1910.

More stuff coming soon:

Romfell Armored Car, Da'Vinci Tank, Filatov 3-Wheeled AC, Japanese in M1930 uniforms and, a little later, since you all asked so nicely, a Garford Armored Truck(!)

It is only a photographic distortion... or Julian horse is woefully too big? It is look the horse in 54 and the figure in 28...

Photographic distortion:) Sorry, it's difficult to get a good image of a mounted figure in such an animated pose.

ok confess!  :D

you are smaller than the miniature... so you have taken the picture from under it...  lol

looking again at the image I seriusly think you have taken the picture too low so the horse and the rider are in two different relative positions. Any chanche of a more level shot?
