In February of 2005, Rattrap Productions and .45 Adventure were first launched onto the world. Well, it took a while to reach a lot of the world, but the game has now been shipped to more parts of the world than I thought would happen.
To celebrate this historic event in the life of our company, we're going to do something we rarely, if ever, do. We're going to have a sale. And 5 years is a big deal in the life of a small miniature game company so I want the sale to be something big as well.
Each weekend in February(Friday to Sunday) we are going to put select printed books on sale. And we're not talking 10% off or 20% off, but a whopping...
50% off the cover price.
There is one caveat to this deal. It is only going to be on books we have in stock. As you know, we have had to switch printers several times and though we finally have one we like, the prices are higher. I could not offer this deal on the new books being printed, so the stock is limited to what we have had printed from previous printers.
This weekend, the .45 Adventure titles will be on sale. This includes:
.45 Adventure
Dragon Bones
Amazing War Stories
The Gargoyle
Super Science Tales
Next weekend will be the Gloire titles.
If you have wanted to get copies of the printed books at prices nearly the same as our PDFs, now is your chance. And knowing me, we won't have another sale for another 5 years.

Darn, It doesn't cover PDFs........
-
Wow! What a great offer that is! :o
And congrats to Operator5 - Happy 5th Birthday Rattrap!! :D
-
Rich, Congratulations on 5 years. Time sure flies.
It also looks like you've broken my game company curse.
-
Yes, congratulations, Op5!
-
OUCH...the shipping hurts for 3 books ($31.05). That more than doubles the price. Okay, I must ponder on this one first.
-
Already 5 years...
Congratulations !
All the best for future projects !

Yeah, what you've been doing so far, keep doing that!

Shipping to where? And if you ever have a question on shipping, please feel free to send me haranguing e-mails. :)
For books I can use Flat rate shipping and it can come in much cheaper (3 books would be less than $15 to Europe). Unfortunately I cannot configure the store to figure out whether flat rate can be used.

Happy brithday Richard.
It a shame I already have all those books :'( :'( :'(
-
Wait till next weekend. The next batch will go on sale. :)
-
congratulations Rich, well done and good luck!
now waiting till the Broadsword book will be on sale :D
-
Fantastic Worlds and Planet X are now on sale!
The sale lasts through Sunday but we have limited stock on these two, so the sooner you get your order in, the better.
-
Richard;
If I were to order all the books that you eventually put on sale, could I pay you for them as they go on sale and have you hold them for me, until the final purchase, then have you provide me with a flat shipping rate, or pick them up from you at a convention? I checked on the 2 that are on sale, and shipping to Canada for just 2 books was close to $22...more than the product itself...
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Hitman

I would be fine with holding for shipping all the books at one time, however, you have missed the .45 Adventure and Gloire weekends already. Only Broadsword Adventures and ... shhh Valley of the Thunder Lizard are left after Fantastic Worlds.
-
Bugger...I was quite interested in those.... :'(
-
This is the last weekend of our month long sale. This weekend only, you can get Broadsword Adventures print edition and Thrilling Expeditions: Valley of the Thunder Lizard for 50% off cover price.
This is it folks, the last of our 50% off items. The sale has been great to us so far (and apparently to many of you as there are quite a few repeat customers), so hop on over and take advantage of our anniversary celebration.

Aww if I'd realised that at the start I would have put some cash to one side and got all the core books.
:?
Still, time to take a look at my bank account and see if I can pick up Broadsword me thinks.
