The first of my night goblins, i have 20 archers in the first stages of painting as well as 7 wolf riders, these are the really cheap gw plastics which are pretty good, about 7 quid for 20 figures!! the standard bearer is a minor conversion, the moon banner was replaced with the rams skull, also i have added some shields, i will be adding some black hat goblin swordsman at some point, but this wont be for a while yet!

I've always loved night gobbos since the early 1980's. This is a fine looking regiment here. Green Power!
-
I'll second that - go the Gobbos!!
Great paint jobs and a nice change from all that black! The placcy minis have definitely come on since the night gobbo archers you got with 4th ed.

Now I'm going to have to search ebay for some 80s fanatics - especially the one playing hopscotch with his ball and chain!!

Really nice. Im not really into WHFB , but I love NG ( not really into 40K but I love Dark Angels). Your are right about the price too. I bought two BoSP sets add a couple boxed sets and you got a good size force, plus you got some stunties to take out your anger on. Must admit I did mine basic black pattern and they represent the the crooked moon tribe, so its nice to see some change.

I've always liked the Night Gobbos. Really nice bunch you have there. :)

Nice! Looks like alot of work. Great job!

Excellent work! :-*

Those are impressive ranked up like that. I always liked that particular version of the night goblins. GW toned down the goofy a bit, and made more menacing. They seem more like a vicious rabble. Anyway, good work there. I like the dirty brown robes.

Yes the brown robes work very well on them, very nice painting too. I'm currently painting mine up for SBH, but unfortunately now I've seen yours I stuck with black.

I'm a big fan of these Gobbos, cause they're more close to the metal ones from the 80's. THey have the right "spirit" if that works for a Gobbo.
Always worth painting I think (I've got around 80), and the brown gives them a nice different look.
cheers Thomas

Very nicely done.
I especially like the robe color. The standard black is a bit boring. These contrast nicely with the skin tone.
-
Niceeeee, as said nice to see a change from the black robes.
Cheers for sharing

I've some of the archers I picked up cheap... lots of variety and little differences, and yet from what I can see, the placcy dwarves from the Skull Pass set are all clones of each other and have none of the charm these have...

yes pretty much, they have slightly different horns on their helmets and beards, but that's about it.

Nice paint scheme, are you going to make them part of an army? I've often fancied doing a goblin army but dread to think how much I'd have to spend on boxes of goblins!
