Title: A Dark Future in my attic....
Post by: Pappa Midnight on 10 February 2010, 06:56:09 PM: When I moved house I uncovered stuff I forgot I had which included loads of OLD GW stuff, RPG's and books.
Reading the Car Wars thread reminded me that I had a big box of Dark Future stuff ( mostly half converted die-cast stuff). In amongst it I found these two. The painting is a little poor and they could do with a make-over but I thought I'd share.

First is the KILLER QUEEN. I have no idea how long ago I painted it but the car is from 1990.

When my folks sold the family pub I had a last sort out and found a box I thought I'd got shot of. It contained, 30 WD's from the late 80's, Rogue Trooper boxed game and Bloodbowl first edition boxed with my old elf team!

Anyway loving Freddie, anything else worth posting?

The painting isnt that bad!

The execution is fantastic too, those vehicles look like they drove straight out of Death Race 2000.

They do conversion packs for the same scale. And they've got some resin vehicles too.

It's all new, so it's not that far yet.

I painted some of the interceptors from DF as the police cars from MadMax

I've got some hotwheels cars which look more like the cars from the films and I might one day paint them up
