Greetings All. My youngest son is really into Star Wars so I am attempting to recreate Mos Eisley. I am currently working on the Cantina, but I need some Musicians for it like they had in the Star Wars movie that will go with the Wizards of the Coast CMG figure line of Star Wars figures. Any body know if such figures exist or if something could be used in place of these figures? Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thank you all in advance.

There was a star wars cantina set on fleabay in the last few days....
;)

Mega Miniatures do some cantina style aliens... ;)
-
Akula...The old Star Wars Cantina figures are only half the size of the WoTC figures, but thanks anyways.
Rob...I know about Johnny's figures at Mega Minis, but they aren't quite what I am looking for...thanks for your efforts as well.

There were 25mm sets of StarWars characters by WestEndGames in the 80s. Eight in each set. Some contained those Jizz musicians. The band is called "Figrin d´An and the modal nodes".

There is a model kit of Jabbah's throne room. It has several musicians & they are pretty much the same size as the current Star Wars figures. Most of the other models in this series have been rereleased recently. I'm sure that this one is out there some where.

I remember the first time that a buddy of mine told me that the cantina music was called "jizz". Pretty funny.
I was going to mention the MegaMinis cantina musicians, but someone beat me to it. I have them at home in the lead pile. They are ok, as background NPC type figures. Although they dont look like the Mos Eisley musicians, they do look pretty Star Wars-y to me.
If you are going for a replica of the cantina guys then they wouldnt be suitable at all however.

I have them too. It´s Sy Snootles and the Max Rebo Band...not the Modal Nodes.

Michael at classicminiatures.net may have some of the old Archive molds for the musicians. Quite large by the plastic's standard but then they are aliens ;)
-
I had that Jabba Throne Room. I thought it was more like 1/72 or maybe 15mm. Haven't actual looked at it in years.
-
Wellender...could you find out the exact scale for me, if possible? Thanks in advance.

I have no clue where it is. I have not seen it for years. I'll try, but I wouldn't count on it.
-
The figures I have from the throne room kit are about equal in size with the ones from the current plastic Star Wars range.
-
Herby;
Do you mean WOTC pre-painted plastics??
Thanks in advance,
